Monday Morning Podcast

The Monday Morning Podcast is hosted by stand-up comedian Bill Burr and it is one of the most popular podcasts on iTunes. The podcast is very unique to most other popular comedy podcasts because Bill Burr, for the most part, just sits in a room by himself and rambles about life on the road, sports and he answers questions from his listeners.

Comedian Dave Attell and Bill Burr
This podcast is one of the funniest in the world. Bill Burr is a fast-talking Boston comedian and even the way he talks is funny. There is a lot of profanity and vulgar comedy on this podcast, but that’s part of the charm. This podcast is an unfiltered look into the mind of Bill Burr. He is a master story teller and his stream of consciousness is second to none. This podcast is a mix of common sense and life wisdom with a great deal of ignorance.

When Burr’s listeners e-mail him questions, he always makes sure to tell them to not take his advice because he is not qualified; people still e-mail him serious questions about relationships, careers and other serious questions about life. He responds to the questions brilliantly with great advice and breaking down the scenarios and evaluates the consequences of the possible choices.

Everything in this podcast is funny, even his commercials. He does live reads during his show, but he makes fun of his own reading skills. He has even lost sponsors because he makes fun of the company if they give him a script he finds senseless.

Bill Burr is one of the best comedic minds in stand-up today. Between his unique views on the world and his advice, this show makes people look forward to Mondays. This podcast is pound-for-pound the best podcast because it is literally one man talking into a microphone creating comedic gold.

Chris D'Elia on Workaholics as Topher, the ballin' pedophile

Some episodes include special “celebrity guests” like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Hulk Hogan and Mike Tyson, but the guests are usually one of the hosts doing an obvious and hilarious impression. Most of the episodes involve Sasso and D’Elia ganging up on Callen somehow by and making fun of how old he is or how he isn't funny. Also, there are characters that appear on the show including Everybody's Dad, rapper Chank Smith, and Mary Stuart Foley. The podcast is basically three friends who record themselves while they talk shit to each other; it’s fantastic.

The Champs Podcast

The Champs Podcast is a comedy podcast hosted by Chappelle's Show  co-creator
Neal Brennan and stand-up comedian Moshe Kasher. The comedians, who call themselves "The Champs," interview black comedians, journalists, musicians, actors and other minority entertainers.

Most of The Champs Podcast episode's are about 60-90 minutes and has vulgar language, explicit content, crude humor and it's brilliant. Some of the best interviews have been JB Smoove, Chris Rock, David Alan Grier and Too $hort

Older episodes featured a third member of The Champs named Doug Lussenhop, a.k.a DJ Douggpound, who would play sound effects during interviews. He explains in the Reggie Watts episode, recorded in April 2013, that he had to quit because he was "burnt out" after a year and a half on the podcast and making no money from it.

Moshe Kasher and Neal Brennan with rapper Action Bronson
Kasher and Brennan have been fans of hip-hop and the culture behind it since they were growing up. Moshe Kasher, a small Jewish guy, was raised in Oakland, California. In Oakland, according to Kasher, black culture is the dominant culture, so he grew up in a black neighborhood and went to black schools. Neil Brennan co-created one of the best sketch shows of all time with Dave Chappelle and is now a stand-up comedian who recently released a comedy special called Women and Black Dudes, because Brennan says that's what most of his material is about.

A wide variety of topics are covered in this podcast. From vulgar sex talk to race-relations, The Champs always seem to transition from one topic to another seamlessly. There are strong opinions and this show is definitely not politically correct. It's men talking to each other while there are no women around, hilarious. Brennan and Kasher make their guests feel relaxed and tell stories of life on the road, sexual conquests and racial issues. This is one of the best comedy podcasts on the internet and worth a listen.
